Cotton Plateau () is a snow-covered plateau just east of the mouth of Marsh Glacier, in the Queen Elizabeth Range.

Name

Cotton Plateau was named by the northern party of the New Zealand Geological Survey Antarctic Expedition (NZGSAE; 1961–62) for Sir Charles Cotton, noted New Zealand geomorphologist and authority on glacial landforms.

Cotton Plateau is in the west of the Queen Elizabeth Range, bounded by the Marsh Glacier to the west, the Prince of Wales Glacier and Hamilton Glacier to the east and the Princess Anne Glacier to the south. Features include, from north to south, Hochstein Ridge, Prince Edward Glacier, Panorama Point and The Palisades.
