The name Actinophytocola derives from the Greek noun grc or grc, a ray, beam; Greek noun grc, plant; Latin masculine gender suff. -cola (from Latin noun incola), a dweller, inhabitant; Neo-Latin masculine gender noun Actinophytocola, actinobacterial dweller inside a plant.
