  1. The [[Swedish Football Association]] has decided that [[Allsvenskan]] will be expanded to 16 teams effective from the 2008 season. This means that three teams will be promoted from [[Superettan]] while only one team will be relegated from [[Allsvenskan]], two teams will be promoted from each of the two [[Swedish football Division 1. Division 1]] groups while only two teams will be relegated from [[Superettan]], and one team will be promoted from each of the six [[Swedish football Division 2. Division 2]] groups while (probably) only two teams will be relegated from each of the two [[Swedish football Division 1. Division 1]] groups.
  2. A 2007–08 tournament of [[Royal League]] was planned, but in the end never played.
