WaveSite is a website creation platform that uses AI to generate fully functional websites from natural language input. A user describes their business, project, or personal brand in plain English, and WaveSite produces a complete, styled, and publish-ready website. The generation process typically completes in under 60 seconds.

WaveSite is developed and operated by CloudSurf Software LLC, a bootstrapped software company headquartered in Las Vegas, Nevada. The product is available at wave.site and has been in production since 2025.

No account creation is required to generate a first website. Users can describe what they need, receive a generated site, and preview it before deciding whether to publish -- removing the typical signup barrier associated with website creation tools.

How It Works

The creation process follows three steps:

1. Describe -- The user writes a plain-English description of their website. This can be done from any device, including a phone.
2. Generate -- AI interprets the description and produces a complete website, including layout, copy, imagery references, and structure.
3. Publish -- The finished site is published at a yourname.wave.site subdomain with a single click.

After generation, users can refine the site using a block editor that provides visual control over individual content sections, headings, images, and layout elements.

Underlying Technology

WaveSite builds every site in the SurfDoc format, a typed structured document standard created by CloudSurf Software. Unlike proprietary page-builder formats, SurfDoc represents each website as a structured, machine-readable document with explicit types for every content element.

This architectural choice has several practical consequences:

• Accessibility -- Semantic structure is inherent to the format. Screen readers and assistive technologies can parse SurfDoc sites without relying on ad-hoc ARIA annotations.
• Security -- The format enforces a strict content model. Script injection and malformed markup are excluded by the parser, not by runtime sanitization.
• Translation -- Because content elements are typed and separated from presentation, automated translation operates on structured text rather than raw HTML, improving accuracy.

These properties are built into the document format itself, not applied as a post-processing layer.
