It is located in the southwestern central part of the oblast. The area of the district is 4943 km2. Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Zdvinsk. Population: 16,636 (2010 Census); The population of Zdvinsk accounts for 33.7% of the district's total population.
Geography
Lakes Sargul, Uryum and part of Malye Chany, as well as the Chulym river, are located in the district.
