Stanislas "Stan" Wawrinka (.mw-parser-output .IPA-label-small{font-size:85%}.mw-parser-output .references .IPA-label-small,.mw-parser-output .infobox .IPA-label-small,.mw-parser-output .navbox .IPA-label-small{font-size:100%}French: [stanislas vavʁiŋka]; born 28 March 1985) is a Swiss professional tennis player. He has been ranked as high as world No. 3 in singles by the ATP. Wawrinka has won 16 ATP Tour-level singles titles, including three majors at the 2014 Australian Open, 2015 French Open, and the 2016 US Open, where he defeated the world No. 1 player in the final on all three occasions. He has also won an Olympic gold medal in men's doubles at the 2008 Beijing Olympics partnering Roger Federer, and was pivotal in the Swiss team's victory at the 2014 Davis Cup.
