Michael Munn (October 8, 1952 – July 2022) was a British author, film historian, and actor.

Munn's biography of Steve McQueen has been described as preposterous, and doubt cast on his biographies of Frank Sinatra, John Wayne, Jimmy Stewart, Sir Laurence Olivier, Richard Burton, and David Niven. He commenced his working career by becoming a messenger boy for Cinerama. After promotion he went to work for EMI and then ran a department for Columbia-Warner Bros. In 1974 he began his film career with Film Review, and has since written many critical accounts of films. He is a founding member of the Quayhole Theatre Company (UK), a theatre-in-education group.--

Munn lived in Sudbury, Suffolk. He died from a heart attack in July 2022, at the age of 69.
