Glenalmond or Glen Almond (Scottish Gaelic: Gleann Amain /ɡlaun̪ˠ ˈamɛn/) is a glen which stretches for 40 km to the west of the city of Perth in Perth and Kinross, Scotland and down which the River Almond flows. 'Almond' is an old Brittonic word for river, with no connection to the nut.
