Farah Mohamed Jama Awl (Somali: Faarax Maxamed Jaamac Cawl, Arabic: فارح محمد جامع عول; 1937–1991), usually credited as Farah Awl, was a Somali writer. The Awl family also includes the Warsangali Sultan Mohamoud Ali Shire.
