It is about 8 km northeast of the centre of Didymoteicho. It is bypassed by the Greek National Road 51 (Alexandroupoli - Didymoteicho - Orestiada - Ormenio). The nearest larger villages are Sofiko to the north, and Pythio to the southeast.
