Arman (Persian: آرمان, Ārmān), from Middle Persian 𐭠𐭫𐭬𐭭𐭩 (Armin), from Old Persian 𐎠𐎼𐎷𐎡𐎴 is a masculine Persian given name meaning “wish” and “hope.”

This name also has roots in different languages.
